Memory Lane

A very long tracking shot along a roller-coaster, made with openFrameworks. With source code.

This experiment uses a chain of 422 ofNodes which are set into space following some wave functions.

imageIt helps to make paper sketches before sketching in code.

A mesh is then constructed from points projected out of every node’s global position using their global transformation matrix.

The nodes are then visited by a tracking camera, lerping and slerping from one to the next.
