National Maritime Museum: Cannon Interactive
Tim was approached to create custom software for a new game installation for the refurbished Children’s Gallery at the National Maritime Museum Greenwich.
The game is played on multiple screens, with the cannon used to aim and shoot at animated pirates. When the last pirate ship is sunk, the Pirate Captain apologises for being bad and is sent to jail.
Collaborating with the museum’s interaction design group and Soho-based design studio Factory, Ponies & Light delivered technical direction, gameplay design, code & consulting, generative animations and some additional graphics on top of an optimised linux setup.
